"Alcomet" took part in the world's leading trade show for the aluminium industry. It was held from September 27 to 29 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

After a four-year break due to the Covid pandemic, the exhibition took place on the planned dates and exceeded expectations by registering 20,400 visitors and 730 exhibitors from all over the world - machinery and equipment manufacturers, manufacturers of semi-finished products, finished products and recycling.

The participation of Alcomet this year was also memorable. The company impressed its guests with a modern stand located on 192 sq.m. The company's team, consisting of 40 experts and specialists, successfully held meetings with current and future partners and discussed opportunities for future cooperation. Alcomet presented to its guests the large-scale investments made in recent years, followed by new capacities and products, as well as the opportunities it already offers for the automotive industry and electric cars.

The most discussed topic of all participants in the exhibition was sustainable development. This also goes hand in hand with the possibility to increase recycling rates. The reuse of aluminum and other materials is a very important topic on which Alcomet also focuses.

Aluminium is and always will be a key material on the path towards climate neutrality and resource efficiency but the industry is struggling with major challenges related to energy prices, supply security and supply chains. However, the 730 exhibitors from 50 nations also demonstrated at ALUMINIUM that the potential this material and the industry as a whole hold is enormous.
