Alior Bank received the resignation of deputy CEO Filip Gorczyca and picked four new deputy CEOs: Tomasz Bilous, Seweryn Kowalczyk, Dariusz Szwed and Marek Rafal Szczesniak. Gorczyca's resignation takes effect January 31 2019. Kowalczyk and Szczesniak assume their duties on November 27, while Szwed and Bilous will join them as deputy CEOs on January 1 2019 and February 1 2019, respectively. Kowalczyk has to date served as security management director at Alior Bank and in 2008-2018 he worked for the Polish branch of French financial group Credit Agricole. Szczesniak spent the last few years at PKO BP as deputy CEO supervising risk management at the lender's mortgage arm PKO Bank Hipoteczny and earlier at its Ukrainian unit Kredobank. He previously worked at BRE Bank (now mBank), BPH Bank, DnB Nord Polska and Allianz Bank Polska. Szwed has recently been serving as head of the private banking department at Santander Bank Polska where he has been since 1995. Bilous headed the controlling department at bank ING BSK for the last four years and has been with ING BSK since 2006.
