Alkaloid AD Skopje is a Macedonia-based company active in the pharmaceutical sector. It is engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of pharmaceuticals, the processing of herbal materials and the production of cosmetics, tea, chemical products and coating agents. It operates through two divisions: Pharmaceuticals, and Chemicals, Cosmetics and Botanicals. The Company’s product range includes human drugs, x-ray films, haemodialysis solutions, pharmaceutical raw materials, animal health products, perfumes, household cosmetics, skin, teeth and hair care products, tea and alimentary products. It also operates a development institute for analysis, research and quality control, warehouses and laboratories. The Company operates more than 13 subsidiaries in such countries as Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo, the Untied States, Montenegro and the Russian Federation.
