Colombia's national hydrocarbons agency (ANH) has approved a farmout agreement between Amerisur Resources and Occidental Andina, the Colombian subsidiary of US-based Occidental Petroleum. Through the agreement, Occidental Andina will acquire a 50% share in the Tacacho, Terecay, Put-9, and Mecaya blocks in Putumayo. These equate to a total area of over 554,000 hectares.
