(MT Newswires) -- Marc Rowan, CEO of Apollo Global Management, points out that the best investors are no longer in the US. According to Rowan, US institutional investors are now too dependent on benchmarks, forcing them to follow the general trend so as not to deviate from the norm.

He sees a similar crisis in Europe, where investors are also influenced by these same benchmarks. Rowan points to regions such as Singapore and the UAE, which are distinguished by an investment approach where decisions are made and executed quickly and efficiently, fostering a responsive and innovative investment culture.

Apollo's CEO highlights family offices, i.e. private banking offices that manage the assets of wealthy families, as the new key players in the investment space. He points out that these entities have become large enough to be considered institutions in their own right.
