Ariel Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire land and building at Jingu-mae, Shibuya-ku from Asahi-Seiki Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (NSE:6111) for ¥62 million on April 4, 2012. In a related transaction, Sohken Ability Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire 1-1619-4 Nogata, Nakano-ku from Asahi-Seiki Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for ¥87 million. The Board of Directors of Asahi-Seiki Manufacturing Co., Ltd. resolved the transaction on April 4, 2012. The expected date of conclusion of the contract is April 13, 2012. The transaction is expected to close on May 31, 2012. Asahi-Seiki Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will gain ¥61 million from the transaction.
