Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, LLC acquired Koma Kulshan Hydoelectric Assets from Atlantic Power Corporation for $24 million.

Atlantic Power Corporation (Atlantic Power) is an independent power producer that owns power generation assets approximately in 11 states in the United States and two provinces in Canada. The Company's power generation projects sell electricity to utilities and other customers mainly under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs), to minimize exposure to changes in commodity prices. The projects are diversified by geography, fuel type, dispatch profile and offtaker. The Company has four segment, such as solid fuel, natural gas, hydroelectric and corporate. The Company directly operate and maintain approximately 16 power generation projects. The Company also sell steam from several projects to industrial purchasers. The Company's portfolio consisted of approximately 21 operating projects.
