Atos: JEDI module honored for energy efficiency
Installed in April by the Franco-German consortium, the JEDI development system already has the same hardware as the JUPITER booster module, currently under construction at the Jülich Research Center in Germany.
In the measurements carried out to establish the Green500 ranking, the JEDI system achieved a computing power of 4.5 quadrillion floating-point operations per second, or 4.5 petaflops, with an average power consumption of 66 kilowatts.
