Axway announced that it has added two new members to its leadership team for sales and business development. Pat Ryan, formerly of IBM, has joined the company as senior vice president, North America Sales; Marcelo Ramos, formerly of GXS, has taken the role of senior vice president, Latin America. In their roles, Ryan and Ramos will help the company meet the growing global demand for the company 5 Suite.

Pat Ryan joins the company with more than 30 years' experience leading global sales teams, most recently as the director, worldwide sales for IBM's business solutions portfolio. In his new role, Ryan will be responsible for overseeing the company's North American sales organization. His primary goal will be driving sales productivity and customer satisfaction for the Axway 5 Suite, in alignment with the company's mission to help organizations govern the flow of data.

Marcelo Ramos has a proven track record managing IT software organizations in Latin America and brings to the company more than 28 years' experience in developing strong customer and partner relationships, building and retaining high performance teams, increasing market share, and growing revenues with the performance. Most recently Ramos served as the vice president and general manager, LATAM for Opentext/GXS, and prior to that he held leadership roles at IBM/Sterling Commerce.
