Azumah Resources Limited advises of more exceptional drilling results that have materially extended to depth and along strike recently discovered high-grade East Lode mineralisation at the Bepkong deposit, Wa Gold Project, Ghana ("Project"). The results from these holes provide strong support for the possibility of an underground mining operation at Bepkong that, subject to a full technical and economic evaluation, could add considerable value to the proposed, financially robust, plus-100,000oz gold per year open-cut mining operation (ASX release 30 January 2019)(Figs 1 to 6. Photos 1 and 2. Tables A and B. Appendix). Intercepts from the latest four holes (BRCD488 to 491) included another extremely broad and very well mineralised zone of 99.5m at 2.16g/t Au from 316m (BRCD489)(Sect. 1152100). Together with the East Lode `discovery hole' BRCD487, positioned 75m above BRCD489, which returned an intercept of 93.1m at 2.33g/t Au from 261m (ASX release 12 December2018), the presence of a very large and well-developed, south-plunging East Lode mineralised system with remarkable continuity and internally consistent high-grade ore shoots, has been confirmed to at least 300m below surface. The system remains open to depth. Of importance when considering the possibility of underground mining, numerous higher-grade ore shoots were intersected within BRCD489 including: 3m at 11.45g/t Au from 316m; 2m at 15.25g/t Au from 322.5m; 10m at 5.01g/t Au from 369m (within 15m at 3.92g/t Au from 365m); 3.10m at 6.29g/t Au from 387.9m; and 8.5m at 5.82g/t Au from 406m (incl. 1m at 23.80g/t Au from 408m).
