AzureWave Technologies, Inc. (TSEC:3694) announced a private placement of 17,500,000 common shares at a price of TWD 17.1 per share for gross proceeds of TWD 299,250,000 on March 20, 2018. The transaction will involve participation from Advantech Corporate Investment. Pursuant to the transaction, the investor will acquire 18% stake in the company.
AzureWave Technologies, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research and development, production and distribution of wireless communication modules and digital image modules. Its wireless communication module products include wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) products, Bluetooth products, global positioning system (GPS) and others. Its digital image module products include fixed focus modules, automatic focus module products and others. The Company also provides wireless network routers, wireless network sharing devices and wireless network cameras. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including Hong Kong, Mainland China and Europe.
