BAE Systems announces that it has been awarded a contract worth up to $182 million by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) to provide geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) enterprise modeling (GEM) services, via a suite of services called GEM Cutter.

GEM Cutter offers advanced modeling capabilities to analysis teams, reducing cognitive workloads by making sense of data more quickly.

With the growing volume of disparate information and data across channels, modeling is essential for the defense intelligence community.

It offers users the ability to make sense of the world around them by identifying and characterizing patterns in information derived from imagery and geospatial data.
