Banco Mercantil del Norte SA Institucion de Banca Multiple Grupo Financiero Banorte (Banorte) is a Mexico-based financial institution (the Bank) primarily engaged in the multiple banking sector. The Bank's products and services include current and saving accounts, deposits, investment funds, securities brokerage, retirement plans, a variety of insurance policies, credit cards, consumer and commercial loans, mortgages, money transfer and foreign exchange, as well as other banking operations to businesses and individuals. The Bank owns such subsidiaries as Derivados Banorte SA de CV, Banorte USA Corporation and Solida Administradora de Portafolios SA de CV, among others. In addition, Grupo Financiero Banorte SAB de CV is the Bank's majority shareholder.
