Bang & Olufsen introduces first custom installed outdoor speaker Beosound Bollard
Today at CEDIA Expo in Denver, USA, Bang & Olufsen announced its first custom installed outdoor speaker, Beosound Bollard, in collaboration with Origin Acoustics.
Tuned by Bang & Olufsen's expert tonmeisters at the headquarters in Struer, Denmark, Beosound Bollard is the first time that 98 years of audio innovation can be fully enjoyed outside through a custom install solution.
"Beosound Bollard combines Bang & Olufsen's expertise in superior acoustics with Origin Acoustics outdoor speaker competencies for custom installation." Says Vice President of Product Marketing, Michael Henriksson. "This marks the first step in delivering one seamless Bang & Olufsen experience from indoor to outdoor, without comprising on audio quality".

With three powerful drivers and a 360-degree silicone lens, Beosound Bollard fills any garden with rich, powerful audio. The innovative design means that the integrated subwoofer that provides the power, synonymous with Bang & Olufsen, is hidden underground. This in turn means that the visible part of each speaker is sleek, minimalist, and space efficient.

Designed To Evolve.
Beosound Bollard mixes practical design with the audio supremacy which Bang & Olufsen is known for. The top sleeve of the speaker is not only replaceable, but interchangeable to suit whichever evolving landscape that the speaker is situated in. The high-quality, surface-coated aluminum sleeve is available in a round or squared style, in Black, Bronze and Natural finishes.

Seamless Connection. Inside and Out.
By using Beosound Core, Bang & Olufsen's connectivity hub, multiple Beosound Bollard speakers can be connected to cater for any size of outdoor space.
Going one step further, utilizing Beosound Core, Bollard can be integrated with interior speakers to create a seamless music experience from within the home, into the garden. This smart-home solution, that unlocks multiroom connectivity through Beolink, Airplay or Chromecast, can now for the first time, be fully provided by Bang & Olufsen.
