Baraka Patenga Power Limited is a Bangladesh-based company, which develops power plants. The principal activity of the Company is to set up power plants for generation and supply of electricity. The plant has a capacity of 50 MW and is located at Patenga, Chittagong. It also developed a cogeneration secondary power plant with a capacity of 3.20 MW. Its project, Desulfurization plant, has been introduced to reduce sulfur emissions at an acceptable low level. The plant has been operating using 08 nos. of Rolls Royce Engine with a capacity of 6.984 MW each, the total capacity of the plant is 55.872 MW. Its subsidiaries include Karnaphuli Power Limited (KPL), Baraka Shikalbaha Power Limited (BSPL), and Baraka Securities Limited (BSL).
