BASE CO., LTD. announced consolidated earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2020. For the year, the company reported Net Sales were ¥12,400 million against net sales of ¥9,714 million a year ago. Operating profit was ¥2,438 million against operating profit of ¥1,679 million a year ago. Ordinary profit was ¥2,423 million against ordinary profit of ¥1,654 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was ¥1,743 million against profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥1,139 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was ¥195.74 against basic earnings per share of ¥143.26 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was ¥184.7 against diluted earnings per share of ¥134.47 a year ago.
BASE CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the development of software. The Company is engaged in the provision of system development services, enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions and other solutions. The system development services are engaged in the provision of total system development services including requirements definition, basic design, detailed design, program design, programming, various tests, migration, release, operation and maintenance services for the financial, distribution and manufacturing fields. The ERP solution services are engaged in the provision of services in the ERP, customer relationship management (CRM), company-specific middleware component software and other areas. The other solution services are engaged in the provision of Nippon Individual Savings Account (NISA) opening services, card number recognition services using optical character recognition (OCR) function, as well as business process outsourcing ( BPO) services.
