(Alliance News) - BFF Bank Spa announced Thursday that the shareholders' meeting has appointed Guido Cutillo, Susana Mac Eachen, Massimiliano Belingheri, Anna Kunkl, Domenico Gammaldi, Piotr Henryk Stepniak, Alexia Ackermann, Mimi Kung and Ranieri de Marchis as members of the new board of directors, which will serve for three fiscal years, who was also given the position of chairman.

In addition, Anna Kunkl was selected for the role of vice-chairman and Massimiliano Belingheri was confirmed in that of managing director, with the addition of the appointment of anti-money laundering officer, pursuant to the Bank of Italy provision amending the "Provisions on organization, procedures and internal controls in the area of anti-money laundering."

The meeting then authorized the board of directors to purchase and dispose of up to 8.9 million shares, representing 5 percent of the bank's share capital.

BFF Bank's stock is up 0.7 percent to EUR12.26 per share.
