Biancamano SpA reported consolidated earnings results for the first half of 2014. For the period, the company reported consolidated revenues of EUR 73 million, down 27% annually, due to a more selective approach to tenders and restructuring efforts to cut costs. Consolidated earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) went down to EUR 9.3 million from EUR 10.9 million.

Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) came in at EUR 800,000, compared with an operating loss of EUR 9.7 million in the first half of 2013, mostly due to lower provisions and write-downs. The company booked a consolidated net loss of EUR 380,000 compared with a net loss of EUR 11.9 million in the same period last year.
