BlackRock Municipal Income Fund, Inc. Reports Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter Ended July 31, 2022

BlackRock Municipal Income Fund, Inc. (the Fund), formerly BlackRock Muni Intermediate Duration Fund, Inc., is a closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to provide common shareholders with high current income exempt from federal income taxes. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its assets in municipal bonds exempt from the United States federal income taxes (except that the interest may be subject to the United States federal alternative minimum tax). Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 75% of its assets in municipal bonds rated investment grade or if unrated, are deemed to be of comparable quality by the investment adviser at the time of investment. The Fund invests in a range of sectors, including county/city/special district/school district, education, transportation, utilities, tobacco, health, corporate, and housing.
