Blackrock New York Municipal Bond Trust Reports Earnings Results for the Half Year Ended February 29, 2020

BlackRock New York Municipal Bond Trust is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust's investment objective is to provide current income exempt from regular federal income taxes, and New York State and New York City personal income taxes. It seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in municipal bonds exempt from federal income taxes (except that the interest may be subject to the federal alternative minimum tax) and New York State and New York City personal income taxes. It invests at least 80% of its managed assets in municipal bonds that are investment grade quality at the time of investment or, if unrated, determined to be of comparable quality by the Trust's investment advisor. It invests in various sectors, including county/city/special district/school district, education, transportation, utilities, health, state tax-backed, housing, corporate, tobacco and local tax-backed.
