AIM - WINNERS

UK Oil & Gas PLC, up 25% at 0.08 pence, 12-month range 0.06p-7p. The oil and gas explorer and producer says the competent person's report for its Loxley Gas discovery in Surrey, England shows the net present value of its 2C recoverable gas ranges from GBP86.5 million to GBP123.7 million net to UKOG, depending on gas price forecasts. "Its potential future revenue streams have the capacity to deliver material shareholder value in the foreseeable future," says CEO Stephen Sanderson.

Blancco Technology Group PLC, up 14% at 185p, 12-month range 150p-233.5p. The data security company says revenue in the six months to December jumped 22% to GBP24.0 million from GBP19.7 million. Pretax profit leaps 42% to GBP2.6 million from GBP1.8 million. Says improved performance partly down to the restructure of its global sales team, having appointed new sales leaders. Also boasts strong pipeline of opportunities for its financial second half, and says it is continuing to trade "well".

Versarien PLC, down 14% at 5.71p, 12-month range 4.87p-27.95p. The advanced engineering materials group says current macro-economic conditions have delayed the commercialisation it had been expecting, and hints at potential for fundraise. "We will continue to seek grant funding to support our operations, but will also need the continuing support of investors, either strategic or from the capital markets, to fund the business until such time as the graphene market gains traction and material commercial revenues flow," CEO Neill Ricketts says. Pretax loss widens slightly in its most recent trading period. In the 18 months to September 30, reports pretax loss of GBP8.3 million, compared to GBP8.1 million. Revenue rises to GBP11.1 million from GBP5.7 million. Will "streamline" business to focus on primary opportunities in construction and textiles.
