On a per-share basis, the Marietta, Georgia-based company said it had profit of $3.50. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $3.97 per share.
The building products distributor posted revenue of $847.8 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $296.2 million, or $31.51 per share. Revenue was reported as $4.45 billion.
BlueLinx shares have increased 17% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $83.22, a decline of nearly 3% in the last 12 months.
