Brioschi sells entire stake in Milanofiori Energia for EUR3 million

(Alliance News) - Brioschi Spa announced Thursday that it has sold the entire 70 percent stake it held in Milanofiori Energia Spa to Getec Italia Spa.

At the same time, Amafin Spa, owner of the remaining 30 percent stake, also sold its share to Getec.

Milanofiori Energia owns a cogeneration plant and the associated private district heating network serving the Milanofiori Nord district in Assago.

The sale price for the 70 percent share owned by Brioschi is approximately EUR3.2 million and has been paid in full by the buyer.

At present, the company estimates that the pre-tax economic effects of the sale are positive by about EUR2.5 million in the consolidated financial statements and EUR1.9 million in the separate financial statements.

Brioschi's stock is up 1.6 percent to EUR0.062 per share.
