Brisbane Broncos provided earnings guidance for the first half ended June 30, 2013. The company expects a 23% rise in profit for the first half of 2013 despite the NRL club's disappointing season. But the club has said it expects to post a profit of $2.73 million for the six months to June 30, an improvement on its $2.23 million profit in the same period in 2012.

The company said the club's profit for the full year will be influenced by attendances at its remaining home games, which are likely to drop if the NRL team continues to lose matches.
