Brookfield India Real Estate Trust agreed to acquire 4 Properties of Bharti in Delhi from Bharti Enterprises Limited for INR 60 billion

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust is an India-based institutionally managed real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is primarily engaged in the business of developing and maintaining commercial real estate properties in India. The principal activity of the Company is to own and invest in rent or income generating real estate and related assets in India with the objective of producing stable and sustainable distributions to unitholders. Its portfolio consists of about 25.4 million square feet (MSF) of total leasable area, comprising 20.7 MSF of operating area, 0.7 MSF of under construction area and 3.9 MSF of future development potential. The Company's assets include Downtown Powai, Candor TechSpace, Sector 48, Candor TechSpace, Sector 21, Candor TechSpace, Sector 62, and others. It has about seven integrated office parks located in various parts of India. Brookprop Management Services Private Limited serves as the manager of the Company.
