Leonhard Keller, Head of Valves at Burckhardt Compression Holding AG and a member of the Executive Board, is handing over his management responsibilities to Hans Keist on January 1, 2013. Leonhard Keller will assist Hans Keist in scaling up the compressor components manufacturing activities before entering retirement on March 31, 2013. Daniel Oswald, Head of IT and also an Executive Board member, has decided to leave Burckhardt Compression during the course of 2013 to develop his professional career.

Hans Keist (42) will assume management responsibility for MT Sealing Technology, Inc. on December 1, 2012 and become a member of Burckhardt Compression's Executive Board on that same date. Effective January 1, 2013, MT Sealing Technology and Burckhardt Compression's valves business, headed by Leonhard Keller, will be merged into the new Burckhardt Components AG and Hans Keist will be its Managing Director. Mr. Keist previously headed a global business unit at an international industrial company.

He has many years of experience in building and managing international business units and aligning organizational structures and business processes with market needs. Daniel Oswald, Head of IT and Executive Board member since 2002, has decided to leave Burckhardt Compression by June 2013 at the latest so he can pursue his career ambitions in a different field. Having been informed of Mr. Oswald's intention so far in advance, Burckhardt Compression has ample time to fill this position and his successor will be announced when the process is completed.
