Calin Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2020. For the full year, the company announced sales was TWD 1,371.127 million compared to TWD 1,241.395 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 69.346 million compared to TWD 119.181 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 56.832 million compared to TWD 92.998 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.5 compared to TWD 0.81 a year ago.
CALIN TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, design, manufacture and distribution of optical components. The Company primarily provides glass molding lenses, which are applied in the manufacture of light emitting diode (LED) products, mobile phones, digital cameras and liquid crystal projectors; plastic products, which include spherical and aspherical lenses, cases and other plastic parts; glass lenses, which are applied in mobile phones, scanners, medical equipment and others; precision optical coating films, which include coatings for plastic lenses, glass lenses and other specialty products; lens assembly, which include lenses of mobile phones, cameras, video cameras and monitors, as well as plastic prisms, which are applied in fingerprint identifiers. It also involves in the design and manufacture of optical moulds and component tools. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan, other Asian markets and the Americas.
