Ramphastos Investments N.V., Greg Guyatt, Jeffrey Zietlow, Daniel Koehn and Andrew Peppin agreed to acquire 90% stake in CannTrust Inc. from CannTrust Holdings Inc. (OTCPK:CNTT.Q).

Ramphastos Investments N.V., Greg Guyatt, Jeffrey Zietlow, Daniel Koehn and Andrew Peppin agreed to acquire 90% stake in CannTrust Inc. from CannTrust Holdings Inc. (OTCPK:CNTT.Q) on February 25, 2022. Ramphastos Investments N.V. will have 18 months, from the date of closing, to exchange its shares in CannTrust Equity for common shares of CannTrust Holdings. The shareholders will retain 10% of the outstanding common shares through CannTrust Holdings.

It is uncertain which employees will keep their jobs. McCarthy Tétrault LLP acted as the legal advisor and Ernst & Young LLP acted as the court-appointed monitor for CannTrust Holdings Inc.
