Carbon Energy Corporation is an independent oil and gas company. The Company is engaged in the development and production of oil and natural gas in the Ventura Basin of California. The Company's business comprises the assets of Carbon California Company, LLC, which operates and develops conventional light oil properties in the Ventura Basin of California. The Company is engaged in the development of existing oil and gas properties through Carbon California Company, LLC. The Company is also involved in producing property acquisitions, which provide risk-adjusted rates of return, development potential, and which complement the Company’s existing asset base.
