Casey?s Announces Katrina Lindsey Joins Company as Chief Legal Officer

Casey?s General Stores, Inc. announced that Katrina Lindsey is joining the company as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary. This role leads Casey?s legal, risk management, compliance, food safety, government affairs and corporate reporting functions at the third largest convenience retailer and fifth largest pizza chain in the US. Lindsey will report to Chief Executive Officer Darren Rebelez and start in January.Lindsey?s experience most recently includes several years at Office Depot where she served as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Assistant Corporate Secretary. She held roles on the company?s Information Security Incident Response team, Enterprise Risk Management Committee, Diversity and Inclusion Council, and Sustainability Governance Council. Earlier this year she was recruited to a Chief Diversity Officer and SVP, Business Development at a subsidiary within the company. Prior to Office Depot, Lindsey worked at Darden Restaurants leading the 1700-plus restaurant chain?s legal team as Senior Vice President, Division General Counsel. Before joining Darden, she spent six years at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
Casey's General Stores, Inc., through its subsidiaries, operates convenience stores under the names Casey's and Caseys General Store in 16 states, primarily in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. Its convenience stores carry a range of food items, including freshly prepared foods such as regular and breakfast pizza, donuts, hot breakfast items, and hot and cold sandwiches, beverages, tobacco and nicotine products, health and beauty aids, automotive products, and other non-food items. In addition, all but four offer fuel for sale on a self-service basis. Its GoodStop brand offers fuel for sale on a self-serve basis, and a range of selection of snacks, beverages, tobacco products, and other essentials. It also operates two stores selling primarily tobacco and nicotine products, one liquor-only store, and one grocery store. The Company operates approximately 2,521 stores. The Company operates three distribution centers. It has a fleet of approximately 397 tractors used for distribution.
