SA Catana Group along with Financiere Poncin S.a.r.l. acquired 90% stake in Composite Solutions for ?3.6 million.

SA Catana Group (ENXTPA:CATG) along with Financiere Poncin S.a.r.l. acquired 90% stake in Composite Solutions for ?3.6 million on February 20, 2023. As part of the acquisition, Catana acquired 50.01% stake in Composite Solution for ?2 million. At the same time, the family group Financière Poncin, shareholder of Catana, also acquired a 39.99% stake for ?1.6 million. Cristina Sousa Dias of BDO Portugal acted as due diligence provider to SA Catana Group.
SA Catana Group (ENXTPA:CATG) along with Financiere Poncin S.a.r.l. completed the acquisition of 90% stake in Composite Solutions on February 20, 2023.António Pina from Abreu Advogados acted as legal advisor to SA Catana Group (ENXTPA:CATG) in the transaction.
Catana Group specializes in the design, construction and marketing of luxury pleasure boats. The group also operates the concession of a harbor located in the department of Var (Port Pin Rolland). Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- sale of boats (96.7%): luxury catamarans (Catana, Bali and Catspace brands);
- services (3.3%): work carried out on boats (refitting, repairs, maintenance work, etc.), hire of boat-mooring places and security services (400 mooring spaces and 500 on-land storage spaces), boat hire, etc.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: France (25.9%), Turkey (11.5%), United States (14.8%), Italy (6%), Greece (5.2%), Mauritius (4.6%), Spain ( 3.9%), and others (28.1%).
