Catella : Shauna Mehl appointed as Head of ESG to drive the Groups ESG agenda forward

Catella Group Management are happy to announce the promotion of Shauna Mehl as Head of ESG. The appointment underscores Catella's steadfast commitment to sustainability excellence and corporate responsibility. In alignment with the group's values, identifying the ideal candidate internally further emphasizes growth opportunities and empowerment of the employees retaining our talented workforce.

Shauna Mehl is currently working as the Senior Sustainability Manager at Catella Real Estate AG (CREAG) in Munich. She will now shift her focus towards driving and governing the Group's ESG agenda and sustainability activities, while also being responsible for taking CREAG's ESG area forward.

" I'm delighted about the trust that has been placed in me with the position of Head of ESG for the Catella Group. One of my main tasks with the team will be to define a clear path through the ever-changing ESG jungle and provide everyone in the Group with the guidelines within which we can operate successfully in the market, " said Shauna Mehl.

Her primary focus area will be developing a comprehensive roadmap to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements governing environmental, social, and governance standards. Furthermore, Shauna Mehl will make sure that the business areas and entities are positioned on the sustainability map while adhering to regulatory requirements. Catella's sustainability strategy, rooted in EUs frameworks and a holistic approach to ESG integration, serves as a guiding compass. It is meticulously designed to ensure regulatory compliance while fostering knowledge and competencies within the Group to support the long-term strategy of profitable growth and being a leading sustainable investment partner. The role will involve support for the Group's annual report, data collection and related tools for the upcoming years, as well as reporting relevant information to the Catella AB Board of Directors.
