CEMEX, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:CEMEX CPO) agreed to acquire Kiesel Bauchemie Gmbh & Co Kg on September 27, 2023. Cemex acquisition of Kiesel, a mortars and adhesives technological leader in the construction industry based in Germany, as part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen Cemex?s Urbanization Solution business through bolt-on acquisitions aiming to contribute to the development of vibrant, resilient, and more sustainable cities. The transaction is subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, including consent from government agencies. The transaction is expected to complete by the end of the fourth quarter of 2023 or soon thereafter.
