Chemtrak Inc., formerly Medivisor Marketing Inc., develops, manufactures, markets and sells personal medical diagnostic systems for consumer over-the-counter markets, point-of-care markets and physician's office laboratories worldwide. It manufactures and distributes three products in the United States: Parent's Alert Home Drug Test Service, a home drug test service committed to helping parents prevent and eliminate drug abuse by their children, the CholesTrak Home Cholesterol Test, and ColoCARE, a home test to detect the warning signs of colorectal disease. It expects to market and distribute two additional products in 1998, the AccuMeter H. pylori Test, a physician's office test to determine the presence of bacterium associated with gastric and peptic ulcers, and the AccuMeter Theophylline Test, a point-of-care quantitative assay for theophylline, a prescribed bronchodilator used by asthmatics. Its products are available through most chain drug stores and mass merchandisers.
