In response to the first cold wave of the Year of the Dragon, Trading Group has taken swift and coordinated measures to confront the severe weather, and ensure stable energy supply, undertaking its responsibility of securing the energy supply, fulfilling the mission of a central state-owned enterprise in the energy sector.

As the largest coal sales and supply enterprise in the country, Trading Group has fully leveraged the integrated operation advantages of CHN Energy. In the face of wide-ranging snowfall, it immediately initiated an emergency plan for extreme cold weather, deploying key tasks in terms of safety production, coal source preparation, and transportation guarantee. It has coordinated all subordinate units to ensure coal supply in key areas affected by the cold wave, including North China, Northeast China, and Central China, and for "the 14th National Winter Games". Sales units and regional companies such as Xi'an Branch, Northeast Company, and Central China Branch, responded actively and cooperated efficiently. They have been committed to the supply strategy focusing on self-produced coal supplemented by traded coal, launching a new campaign to secure the supply during the cold wave. In-depth on-site investigations have been conducted, dynamically tracking the supply, consumption, and inventory situations of key users, establishing early contact with suppliers for coal storage work. Supply plans have been developed for each user, and sales direction has been optimized and adjusted in a timely manner to ensure balanced coal transportation in extreme weather conditions. The coordination mechanism with Harbin Railway Bureau and production units has been strengthened, monitoring changes throughout the production, transportation, and sales business chain dynamically. The mature "Sea-River Transport" supply chain advantages have been utilized to stimulate the efficiency of internal and external coal linkage, continuously increasing coordination in production, transportation, and sales. The production and operation situations of key internal and external power users in the region have been comprehensively investigated, especially for power plants with long transportation distances and complex logistics channels. A multi-dimensional dynamic early warning mechanism for coal inventory, in transit, and daily consumption has been established to ensure the safety, stability, and orderliness of coal supply. In response to severe weather conditions such as heavy snowfall and strong winds in core mining areas, in close conjunction with the "three preventions" in winter work deployment, operating safety requirements and on-site protection measures have been implemented with focus on source control, monitoring and early warning, efficient distribution, and stable operations, as well as special attention to prevent vehicles from freezing to ensure safe and stable production.
