China Southern Airlines Company Limited reported group operating results for the January 2024. for the month, passenger capacity (measured by available seat kilometres ("ASK")) of the Group increased by 40.39% as compared with the same period last year (a year-on-year ("YoY") basis), of which, passenger capacity for domestic routes, regional routes and international routes increased by 14.33%, 125.45% and 487.74%, respectively, as compared with the same period last year. Compared with the same period last year, passenger traffic (measured by revenue passenger kilometres ("RPK")) increased by 56.47%, of which, passenger traffic for domestic routes, regional routes and international routes increased by 29.04%, 173.13% and 527.42%, respectively, as compared with the same period last year.

The passenger load factor was 81.01%, representing an increase of 8.33 percentage points as compared with the same period last year, of which, the passenger load factor for domestic routes, regional routes and international routes increased by 9.36, 13.07 and 4.90 percentage points, respectively, as compared with the same period last year. In terms of cargo operations, in January 2024, cargo capacity (measured by available tonne kilometers ("ATK") - Cargo and Mail) increased by 32.56% as compared with the same period last year. Cargo and mail traffic (measured by revenue tonne kilometres ("RTK") - Cargo and Mail) increased by 40.96% as compared with the same period last year.

The cargo and mail load factor was 49.14%, representing an increase of 2.93 percentage points as compared with the same period last year. In January 2024, the Group has newly launched the following major routes: Nanning ­ Changchun ­ Nanning, Urumchi ­ Haikou ­ Urumchi, Fuzhou ­ Seoul ­ Fuzhou (each being seven flights a week).
