CJ CGV Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 25,895.3 million compared to KRW 18,778.22 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 99,377.36 million compared to KRW 91,830.23 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 2,588 compared to KRW 2,751 a year ago. CJ CGV Co Ltd is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the operation of the movie theaters. The Company operates theaters to provide entertainment platform linked to shopping, dining and entertainment. Movie theaters include general movie theaters, as well as format theaters such as CINE de CHEF, Gold Class, 4DX, image max (IMAX) theaters. The Company is engaged in the sale of tickets, screen advertisements, equipment, as well as the operation of snack bars.
