Received an overall rating of 3.5 stars in the 2nd Nikkei SDGs Management Survey

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. (headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President Calin Dragan; hereafter "CCBJH") has announced that the company received an overall rating of 3.5 stars in the 2nd Nikkei SDGs Management Survey, which is a management survey aimed at assessing the surveyed companies based on their efforts to address social, economic and environmental issues through their businesses and how effectively these efforts have contributed to enhancing their corporate value.

SDGs Management Survey is an annual survey that Nikkei Inc. began conducting from 2019 with an aim to assess the surveyed companies based on their responses to the questions on four management areas related to SDGs - "strategy / economic value", "social value", environmental value" and "governance". The overall rating on five-star scale is determined according to the deviation measurement of the scores received by the surveyed companies in each of these assessment areas.

CCBJH received an S+ rating in the area of "social value" for its initiatives focused on addressing the social issues, which include the "Hydration Seminar" conducted as one of its heat stroke prevention measures.

CCBJH intends to continue creating shared value through its business activities that contribute to the well-being of the local communities it serves and the efforts to solve the various issues that lead to the achievement of SDGs.
