NIIT Technologies Ltd. : NIIT Technologies appoints Sudhir Chaturvedi as Chief Operating Officer

New Delhi, August 26 2013: NIIT Technologies Ltd. , a leading global IT solutions organization today announced the appointment of Sudhir Chaturvedi as its Chief Operating Officer. Sudhir joins NIIT Technologies from Infosys where he last served as Senior Vice President and Head of Financial Services Americas Business Unit. In this newly created position Sudhir will be responsible for sales & delivery worldwide for Technology and Business services.

Sudhir, 43, has rich and varied experience of over 20 years across geographies and industry segments. In his 13 year stint at Infosys he played a leadership role in the company as EMEA Retail Head, EMEA Sales Head, and Europe Manufacturing Vertical Head, before moving to the US as Financial Services Business Unit Head. Sudhir has also worked at Ernst & Young in the UK, and with AF Ferguson and Ogilvy & Mather in India.

Sudhir is a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University. He did his MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Pune, and another MBA in Finance from Leeds University in UK.
