Community Bankers Trust Corporation Announces Special Dividend, Payable on December 2, 2021

Community Bankers Trust Corporation is the holding company for Essex Bank (the Bank). The Bank engages in a commercial banking business and provides a range of financial services primarily to individuals, small businesses and commercial companies, including individual and commercial demand and time deposit accounts, commercial and industrial loans, consumer and small business loans, real estate and mortgage loans, investment services, online and mobile banking products, and cash management services. Essex Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank and its financial consultants offers a range of investment products and alternatives through an affiliation with Infinex Investments, Inc., an independent broker-dealer. It also offers insurance products through the Bank's ownership interest in Bankers Insurance, LLC, an independent insurance agency. The Bank operates approximately 24 full-service offices, 18 of which are in Virginia and six of which are in Maryland.
