• Logista Freight is advancing its sustainability strategy by acquiring new multi-temperature trailers equipped with the Advancer Spectrum refrigeration unit. These units boast the most accurate temperature control technology on the market, the lowest emissions and the lowest noise level.

Logista Freight, a Logista company specialising in long-haul transport, has just announced its acquisition of new multi-temperature trailers fitted with Advancer Spectrum A-500 Spc refrigeration equipment made by Thermo King, a leading company in the field of temperature control solutions for transport.

These state of the art units are notable for being highly energy-efficient refrigeration units, thus drastically reducing atmospheric CO2 levels. In fact, the CO2 emissions of these GreenTech direct injection engines are 50% lower than the maximum allowed by European Union legislation.

What is more, this equipment uses geolocation to automatically allow the engine to operate at low revolutions, thus achieving low noise emissions.

All this, together with very precise temperature control, producing a differential of only 0.2 degrees above the set point, ensures the utmost rigour when transporting pharmaceutical products or perishable goods.

"This innovative system not only meets today's cooling needs and capacities: it is also built with a more sustainable future in mind. The main advantage of these new units, besides offering more precise temperature control, is that they reduce the environmental impact," said Álvaro González-Escalada, the General Manager of Logista Freight.
