Consolidated Edison announced that it created a new holding company that will bring together its three existing clean energy corporations, ConEdison Solutions, Consolidated Edison Development Inc. and Con Edison Energy Inc. The new company, dubbed Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses Inc., will develop, own and operate renewable and energy infrastructure assets as well as provide energy-related products and services to wholesale and retail customers through its three subsidiaries, which will be headquartered in Valhalla, N.Y.

The company also announced that James Dixon will serve as senior vice president and COO of the businesses with responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of each business unit. Dixon previously served as vice president for legal and compliance services of Con Edison Energy and Con Edison Development.
