Cincinnati - December 7, 2016 - Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in customer management, has been recognized for the second year in a row with a perfect 100 score on the 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

The 2017 CEI evaluated LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. To earn a 100 percent rating on the CEI, employers must:
-Have sexual orientation and gender identity non-discrimination protections explicitly included in all operations;

-Require U.S. contractors to abide by the company's existing inclusive non-discrimination policies; and,

-Implement internal requirements prohibiting company philanthropic giving to non-religious organizations that have a written policy of discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.
