CORPORACION GEO REACHES A STANDSTILL AGREEMENT WITH ITS PRIMARY BANK CREDITORS Mexico City, June 05, 2013 - Corporación GEO, S.A.B de C.V. (BMV: GEOB; CORPGEO MX, ADR Level I CUSIP: 21986V204; Latibex: XGEO), Mexico's leading affordable entry-level housing developer, announces that, in the context of its financial restructuring, it has executed a standstill agreement with its main bank creditors. The agreement foresees that the signing bank creditors (i) will cooperate so as to carry out a restructuring of all of GEO's financial liabilities, and (ii) will not initiate any lawsuits against it and suspend any lawsuits already initiated. Moreover, the agreement sets the foundation in order to negotiate, in good faith, the possibility of receiving new financing so that GEO may continue operating in its ordinary course of business; notwithstanding, on this date, we cannot assure that agreements for such new financing will be reached.
GEO has actively pursued these agreements with the goal of creating conditions to achieve a financial restructuring with all of its creditors and will continue to privilege negotiations as the ideal means to preserve the company's value.
