Authentic Brands Reportedly in Discussions with Debenhams, Arcadia for the Potential Acquisitions

Authentic Brands Group LLC (ABG), is in discussions with the respective administrators of UK department store operator Debenhams plc and retail group Arcadia Group Limited for the potential acquisitions of both insolvent companies, the Daily Telegraph reported over the weekend citing City sources. Arcadia administrator Deloitte is said to be awaiting preliminary bids for all or parts of UK tycoon Philip Green's retail group by December 11, 2020, with potential sales to be completed by February (2021).
