Defense Technology Systems Inc. announced that it has received $0.25 million in funding

Defense Technology Systems, Inc., formerly Dataworld Solutions, Inc. consists of two operating divisions, DWS Manufacturing is a specialty assembler of electronic cable assemblies used in data systems and is also a distributor of cabling systems, components and cable management solutions; DWS Defense Systems is a distributor, installer and integrator of specialized security products. Both divisions operate in one business segment. The Company also provides connectivity solutions, which may include distributed sales of passive components (electronic connectors, electronic wire and cable, cabinets and racks, and patch panels) and active components (hubs, bridges, routers, gateways and modems). The Company provides products for interconnection requirements, including Fiber Optics, CAT 5, Telco, V.35, Wire Harnesses, Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Token Ring, Flat Ribbon and Coax cables. The Company is one of five domestic distributors of Corning Cable Systems Premise Wiring.
