Defenx announces the following changes to the Company's board of directors and its senior management team with immediate effect. Raffaele Boccardo, the founder and CEO of BV-Tech, the company's majority shareholder, and previously the Company's Non-Executive Deputy Chairman, has assumed the role of Interim Executive Deputy Chairman, to support the Interim Executive Chairman, Anthony Reeves in progressing the company's business and operations. Further to the company's announcement of 6 April 2018, Philipp Prince's employment with the Company ended on 30 June 2018, but he agreed to remain as a Director to assist in the handover to his successor. Following this handover period, Clive Eplett has been appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer, assuming responsibility for the group's finance function. Eplett will manage the finalisation of the company's Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2017 and the transition towards the appointment of a full time Chief Financial Officer. Eplett has not been appointed to the Board at the current time, but is classified as a PDMR. As a result, Prince has resigned from the Board with immediate effect. Clive Eplett is a Chartered Accountant of 30 years' standing, having qualified with Deloitte Haskins & Sells. He has extensive experience working with AIM quoted companies and has, for the last 15 years, worked as a portfolio and interim Finance Director for small and growing businesses with a specialist interest in IT companies. In addition, as envisaged in the circular dated 6 April 2018, Leonard Seelig has resigned from the Board with immediate effect. The Company expects to announce details of an appropriate successor shortly.
