Although Breast Cancer Awareness month is in October, Delta works for the cause of finding a cure year-round. The airline has raised $24.75 million Breast Cancer Research Foundation since 2005, funding more than 495,000 hours of lifesaving breast cancer research spanning 99 projects.

Delta has a longstanding commitment to supporting BCRF throughout the year, kicking off at the BCRF Hot Pink Party in mid-May when the company presents its annual donation to BCRF.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Delta organizes an annual "Breast Cancer One" charter flight which celebrates Delta people who are battling or have battled breast cancer. Additionally, Delta sells co-branded Delta and BCRF merchandise through the Pink Boutique with all proceeds directly benefiting BCRF.

Here are some ways you can support Delta's BCRF fundraising efforts in May:

ON BOARD

Delta will donate 25% of all onboard food and beverage sales in May to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. On Mother's Day - Sunday, May 12 - we will once again donate 100% of our onboard sales.

ONLINE

Available year-round, customers and employees can donate to this year's BCRF fundraising efforts on delta.com/BCRF and through SkyWish, the charitable arm of Delta's SkyMiles and frequent flyer program, which allows Delta and its SkyMiles members to donate miles to charitable organizations worldwide.

Cash donations on board will not be accepted. Look for more ways to donate and support as we get closer to October.
