Delta Apparel, Inc. announced the expanded presence of its ocean lifestyle brand, Salt Life, in the Northeastern United States as well as a recent profile on Salt Life in the New York Times. The Salt Life brand recently opened its latest brick and mortar retail location at 80 Ocean Avenue North in Long Branch, New Jersey. The new store is the brand's 23rd nationwide and second in the Northeast market along with the Rehoboth Beach, Delaware store opened last year.

Salt Life's branded retail footprint now spans the U.S. coastline from California to Florida and as far north as New Jersey, with plans to expand further up the east coast with multiple locations in New York later this year. Salt Life was recently the subject of a feature article in the New York Times (Maggie Lange, Salt Life Is Coming to a Beach Near You, N.Y. Times, May 28, 2023) highlighting the brand's origins and trajectory into a lifestyle brand with a consumer base stretching across the United States. From its founding in 2003 by avid watermen from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, the brand has grown into the ocean lifestyle category leader through its embrace of all who love fishing, diving, surfing, beach fun, sun-soaked relaxation, and everything in between.

In addition to its expanding branded retail footprint, Salt Life products are also available to consumers at and in surf shops, specialty stores, department stores, and sporting goods retailers across the United States as well as international and island destination locales. Salt Life also offers omnichannel consumer engagement through its YouTube channel, Instagram, Facebook, in-store activations, and The Daily Salt content portal, which includes Above & Below: a Salt Life Podcast as well as charter captain, dive instructor, and surf instructor directories. Salt Life's growing brand ambassador team includes numerous professional athletes and influencers in the fishing, surfing, diving, and music worlds.
