Dundee Energy Limited announced unaudited consolidated earnings and production results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net loss attributable to owners of the parent of $33,000 against net loss attributable to owners of the parent of $2.9 million in the same period of the prior year. Revenues before royalty interests earned from oil and natural gas sales during the first quarter of 2017 were $7.0 million compared with $5.0 million of revenues earned in the same quarter of 2016, reflecting improved commodity prices, partially offset by lower production volumes.

Production volumes during the first quarter of 2017 averaged 10,238 Mcf/d against 10,872 Mcf/d a year ago of natural gas and 436 bbls/d against 490 bbls/d a year ago of oil and liquids. Reductions in production volume reflect the expected natural depletion of the Corporation's resources.
